Oxyron boasts a vast library of Commodore 64 demos, showcasing impressive technical achievements. Explore our collection and be amazed! In the early days, due to a lack of good design and graphics, we focused primarily on quantity. We sometimes released demos every two weeks.
From the end of 1992, and especially from 1993 onwards, there was a significant improvement in quality. We took more time and became more successful.
This marked Oxyron’s first major success at a demo competition. We traveled to Sweden for the Light & Phenomena party and ended up in 4th place! It was an incredible feeling that motivated us to achieve even greater things.
‚Burn it‘ was released at ‚The Party in 1991‘. Unfortunately, we left our disks containing the demo parts at home! This meant we had to recreate everything from scratch at the party itself, which was quite an exhausting experience.
